This is Isabel. She loves scarlet macaws because they remind her of the colors of her country's flag. She loves to care for macaws, too. She's also cheerful.

I'm embarrassed to admit my extent of Venezuela knowledge comprises the tail-end of Gran Colombia, the evolution of its flag, and how Chávez ran the oil sector into the ground like he was playing Tropico. :x

@Thorvald: Why does it make you feel embarrassed?

@FurryKittens: There's a running joke that only people in South America know stuff actually happens in South America, so as a Geography Enjoyer™ who's been involved in several dozen countryRPs, one would think I could buck that trend. ;p

@Thorvald: Here's what I know so far about Venezuela. They speak a certain dialect of Spanish in terms of the slang and vocabulary, they were aldo colonized by Spanish Spaniards, there's jungles located in the south of Venezuela, and July 5th is the Venezuelan independence day. Some Venezuelans eat arepas.

@Thorvald: i forgot to set a time period for TFTA. So, before I another illustration of one of the characters, I need to study the historical flags and pick a specific year or era.
