More concept art for my original project, "Footprints"!

"One of the reasons for Zeke tolerating to still live at his family's house is to look out and support his old grandmother. His family and most of his community treat elders with high respect and are given protection as alphas, a tradition that has been passed through their time due to their harsh history. Zeke is one to consider this highly than his mother and brother, as he goes to her for her wisdom and love that he hasn't got from the rest of his family. He loves her very much, and although she has gone blind and frail, he makes every attempt to spend time with her by accompanying her alone, with his son, Ruby, or the neighborhood friends and their kids."

She is a minor character for the series, but she is an asset to represent what kind of lifestyle they used to live in. suspenseful music plays

Aww, this is heartwarming! It’s really nice to see at least one member of Zeke’s family love and care about him and vice versa.

Zeke’s grandmother certainly seems like an interesting character in her own right, despite her being supposedly a minor one in the story. Her scars alone show that there are stories to tell of her own life, and I’m sure she has plenty.
