change it after. yeah.

I've had this idea floating around in my head, for like, a month, and had to draw it. yeah. If you're cultured, you would have read 'I, Robot' and not just watched the movie, to completely and fully understand the three rules of robotics. And...yeah.

Time to gloat about the fact that that I did the entire back ground with a mouse. Every skull was hand crafted--no sissy pencil guidelines--by MEEEEEEEE!!!!! Same with the clouds. arm falls off [/gloat]

Robots are cool.

points That kid you see up there! A BOY!!! not a girl! A boy, dammit! glares at mother

Done with pencil. Inked with felt tip pen. Coloured in photoshop7 with a mouse.

Great coloring. You do shadows and highlights so well! The robot especially looks fantastic. I love the background! Man, how long did it take to do with a mouse? O.o You have such patience! Awesome job all around.

I love the contrast between that freakymaskface of the robot with its heroic act...You're repulsed, but at the same time, you KNOW it's good.

Excellent work.

Absolutly stunning piece, the coloring job done on this is superb.

Plus very nice job on the robot, you make it seem very "lifelike" with a well posed walking stance, and then being able to see the "insides" of the robot make it an even better sight.

Wow, this is one of the best pieces of I've seen in a while.

Oooh where to start, where to start. For one, this picture has an amazing feel. Like ASAthena said, there is great contrast between the deteriorating robot and the young boy. Perhaps he is a savior of sorts? It's as if the robot picked up the boy from the wreckage and is guiding him to someplace better. It also seems to represent some kind of alliance between two very different creatures.

Your use of color is just as nice. What astounds me most though is that you did each one of those skulls individually, and they way they're blurred into the background makes the picture slightly surreal. Now that's perseverence!

I enjoyed this picture very much, as you can see. Keep up the awesome work!
