The Artists Sacrifice
The Artists Sacrifice by @hammerspark (Gary Davis)

this is a charcoal/conte drawing on strathmore medium toothed paper. I was feeling dark and mystic about junior block cramming at the time. It's a photo of an 18"x24", so the detail kinda went pfft, but it' still one of my favorites :(

Wow, great job on all of the details! I'd love to see it without it being murdered by the computer. I love all the candles and how dark and shadowed it looks.^_^ Great job with making the candles looks like they are aflame and flickering. Awesome picture and it looks like you put a ton of effort into it.
