Female Warrior by @Chronicdoodler (Mary Huff)
Tell the truth this started out as a man but after I drew the eyes and found them too feminine I didn't have the heart to erase them. Do any other artists let the picture guide the idea rather than the other way around?
Halfway through she reminded me of Eowyn, but it was too late to add her famous golden hair. I should draw her later, she's such a cool character.
Absolutely, I always let the pic tell me what I'm drawing. I can't set down rules for what I want the picture to be, it just won't happen then. I am really impressed with what you have done with this picture. This definetly is a VERY realistic looking warrior woman--she looks tough and muscular, but her eyes and face still have that bit of feminine gentleness that could easily turn to battle savagery! And NICE broadsword. I love those things... ::wants her very own broadsword:: they are really fun to play with. This one looks a tiny bit short, but that's the only critique I can come up with for this picture. It's really, really awesome, and I hope you do draw one of Eowyn--she rocks!
