Knight Fury
Knight Fury by @ajfox (A Girtz)

The video games say 'play me', face it on a level but it take you every time on a one on one. Feelin' running down your spine, Nothing gonna save your one last dime cause it own you.  Through and through.  ...The databank know my number, Says I gotta pay cause I made the grade last year.  Feel it when I turn the screw. Kick you 'round the world, there ain't a thing that it can't do.  Do to you, yeah.   Who made who?

The face of a person having way too much fun before a battle.  Torran, Denise & Lola (not pictured - riding shotgun) using their friend Colt's 1978 Plymouth Fury police car to reach a battle in progress.  In my mind I've played through this scene over and over, inspired by AC-DC's "Who made who". Drastic times call for drastic measures, and what better way to get psyched up than behind the wheel of a classic patrol car? Denise radios their status to the inbound cavalry.  Drawing light spires is.....new to me.

The setting is HWY 10 East of Staples, MN (Used as the story/series fictional town of Presto, MN)  heading east.

Reminds me of the arcade game Chase HQ or Lucky and Wild...I miss those style of driving games.

@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: Definitely that feel, indeed.  The rush of weaving through traffic knowing every second counts.  Also reflecting on the days with friends and how we fed off eachother's energy. Hoping to capture experiences like those in this and other works to come.

@ajfox: I always focused on not going out of bounds or hitting a guard rail in the game cause the steering was super sensitive or the force feedback made steering difficult lol.
