Her Death Sketch
Her Death Sketch by @Chaos-Mirror (Damian Power)

"Why does her death haunt you so?"

"You wouldn't understand...No one would unless they witnessed it for themselves..." -Rhith

Got an unsettling call a couple days ago related to my grandmother. Unlike most people, emotions are rarely expressed in the normal sense and I've been called heartless for it. Instead of letting the emotions make me sick again, I've been pouring them into this drawing.

This is a scene from Rhith's backstory. It's been in my head for awhile but the harsh news has helped bring it to light. Still much left out that you guys are welcome to add your input on too! Kids are rarely, if ever, drawn by me so this was a real challenge getting Rhith to look young...he still looks older than he's supposed to be though.

Yes! It's a traditional piece! Truth is, all of my art starts on paper like this. Every piece is penned in before being transferred to the computer and, if I feel like it, I may color it traditionally too.
