Te Puia
Te Puia by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)

A Side 7 exclusive! Public entrance to Te Puia, a Rotorua tourist site incorporating the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute and the Whakarewarewa hot springs. Te Heketanga a Rangi marks the entry to the main grounds; the building includes a gallery and gift shop (one of the two stores during the whole trip where I shilled out for souvenirs), with the School of Weaving adjoined out of frame to the right. Originally the NZMACI was administered by a board appointed by the Minister of Tourism; in 2020 an act of Parliament recognized the Tuhourangi, Ngāti Wāhiao and Ngāti Whakaue as Te Puia's legal owners.
