The Kestari
The Kestari by @The-Wizard-of-Zaar (The Wizard Of Zaar)

A large, physically imposing and violent warrior race of humanoids appearing similar in appearance to a mix of monkey and bat.

They are known for their ferocity and skill with weapons; an advanced species that conquer nearby systems and races. Formidable warriors, whom even give Eraam a good fight and give him cause to flee when they assemble in large numbers. A cruel species, sadistic and revelling in the terror of others. Kestari warriors though skilled in the use of modern energy weapons, also enthusiastically bring bladed weapons into combat, implements they are also skilled in fighting with.

The Kestari have always been known to be a sly and aggressive race; turning on allies, attacking other species unprovoked, using commerce and alliances to get a foot in the door to conquer other races. Much of of this was piracy and skirmishes in space, annexing territory with colonies in order to control movement through areas of space. In recent decades this has escalated to the invasion and conquering of entire planets and systems. Even Eggrellians give the Kestari a wide birth. The Aundi have had long back, limited contact with the Kestari, having fought and bested them twice in skirmishes in more remote space. The Rahashi raid the Kestari like they do any other species or civilization.

They are currently conquering/oppressing their long time enemies the Biri and Keng.

The Kestari have a long history of violence and aggression towards other races; sometimes in duplicitous times of a false peace and cooperation, others in out right hostility.
