A Side 7 exclusive! Western face of Mount Manaia, Whangarei Heads, New Zealand. The 420-metre peak is one of several remnants of the Taurikura volcano complex that erupted during the early Miocene over 50 square kilometres. The Maori have several different interpretations as to whom is depicted in the outcropping.
