Icey Fire
Icey Fire by @Spotz (Grace H)

Yay! My first upload. I really like this piece, it is really recent... and I named it icey fire because the fire sort of looks like ice.

Thanks again!! XD I've just noticed that the hand is a bit malformed, so I'm going to fix that later XD

Welcome to Side 7. I like the way you did the fire, both the transparency and the blending of colors. I'm curious as to what tools you used; I haven't seem to have caught on to how to do this.

I used GIMP... and I just drew it like normal with my tablet and then went over the areas where lines overlapped and made them thicker.... then I just made the fire. with full opacity. then I duplicated it and put the lower duplicate on a low opacity... I erased the one with a higher opacity where the hand was... and then... It looks like this XD Oh, I used the smudge tool for the "icey" look to the fire. XD
