Valentine RoseRyu
Valentine RoseRyu by @Dalamar (Blue Deyeu)

This was originally going to me the valentine card than I would mass produce and distribute to my friends, but I guess I lost my motivation for it late in the planning.

Anyway, while it's a generic valentine, it's somewhat modeled off of Kurama and Hiei from Yuu Yuu Hakusho. The black dragon would be the Kokuryuuha, and the rose, of course, represents Kurama.

Honestly, it looks much better in real life...n.n'

Well, the colouring is a bit scratchy, but other than that it looks nice. I really like the concept.

Yeah, see, that's what really burns me...it's not scratchy at all, it's actually very smooth, but this piece of crud scanner takes sooo much away from it...sigh. You can see the different shades of black on the dragon, and the rose is much deeper in hue, and the mane has a lot more texture. It saddens me, but I still luv it. ^^

Ah, I had the same problem a year ago. Thats why my two pics done in photoshop a year or two ago turned out so utterly crap. I was too lazy to make them better because they got so screwed up by the scanner.

Awww so cute! I love the texture on the mane and the leaves. It's beautiful! ^-^
