Look, you get to see even more as it goes! lol. I changed his holsters once again, more sterdy like holsters, and thicker straps and all. Um, yeah. ^^ So far so good yeah? >>;;

His eyes kinda bug me... but I can still fix it.. I dunno why.. maybe it's just me...shrug

Holsters look terrific!! Good job with 'em! And I don't see what's wrong with the eyes....Maybe it's just me -Shrug- What more can I say? LOL. Nothing to nag you about... =D JK. Nah...I wouldn't do that...Hehe, but if I did, I'd call it 'constructive criticism.' Question: How do you color your pictures? Do you outline, trace, scan, color with pens? Just curious. Sorry I don't have much to say about this picture. In short, I think it's very well done...Much like everything else you've done. Tch tch tch. I'm jealous. Alright, enough babble. Ta ra!!! <~~~MEEEEEEEP!!!!!

Okay.. this is the process I go through. First: Draw them w/ pencil on paper Second: Scan them into the computer Third: Open it in Adobe Photoshop. (this is a long step.. lol) I make a layer on top of the original picture. Think of it as though I was going to trace my own picture w/ a piece of clear paper. I select the paintbrush tool and trace my own lines. The paintbrush tool makes even and smooth lines for outlining. I also have a Wacom drawing tablet (don't know what one is, look it up, don't make me explain). This also helps w/ making my lines nice as opposed to drawing w/ a mouse which I detest. Then after I have outlined it, I make yet another layer, but this one goes under the outline and I select the area's I want to color w/ the wand tool, then fill them w/ the bucket tool on the other layer. I seperate the outline layer and the flat color layer, for one obvious reason. It's easier to blend and color and things w/ out making the outline smear. The outline can stay untouched. Then I add effects, like shading and I blend it. Then I add a bg and any other things to it, and there you are! Most of my pictures take over an hour to complete, depending on how complicated they are. If they're really complicated, like more than one figure or have a detailed background, it can take me several house to do. Now you know. ^^

It's great Julie! But I think you should make the gun a bit more noticable, like make the gun holster maybe... brown?

I was thinking about that.. I might just do that to make it stand out more... I just think that gray or black works better for him, cuz it shouldn't stand out too much.. ^_~ We'll see.. hmm... ^^; thanx

I like it his eyes are cool but its his mouth that kinda bugs me the clothes are so good and match his personality so well keep it up ^_^

Posted: Tuesday, 25 February, 2003 @ 07:08 PM

Yeah, to tell the truth, his mouth kinda bugs me too.. I think it might be too thin, or the lines for the lips look funky... maybe too girly.. I'll work on it. I think maybe his chin might be too small too. Like me said, I'll work on it. XD; thanx.

yesh there is somethin bout the eyes, no pupils, or if they is meant to be the pupils they need and iris round dem, yeah, but i love his holsters, mmm he ish sturdy drools ahem!

Posted: Tuesday, 25 February, 2003 @ 07:07 PM

no no no.. that's not what I meant. This is a work in progress.. I only have the flat colors on the pic, no shading or effects or anything like that is yet on anything in this picture. I just meant something else, but I think maybe they're okay... er, but thanx
