Despite Taillenia being defunct as a country since the end of DYOS VI, its starfleet persisted as a roaming horde/plot device for whenever taillesskangaru needed firepower that wasn't the Brotherhood of Nod. Following Rocket's capture during the Battle of Moscow in DYOS X, officers fed up with his idiocy abandoned Earth and settled on the planet Vostok, assuming the role of government over what had hitherto been a lawless frontier. Never one for easy disposal, Rocket returned in DYOS X.ii, setting Marshal-Commander Hannibal on a collision course with the Clone Guild in a treacherous scheme to seize control of the long-suffering macguffin, the Gem.
