hmmm haven't really been inspired to do that much lately, just another random boredom painting. lol that nose is buggin' me though... but anyways it was based of a friends snake-like race know as 'scythians'. painted in photoshop 6.

Wow, I really like this piece. The gold helmet is very ornate looking, and matches the skin tone well. The nose is a little strange looking because it joins the eyes like that. Something more subtle would work well. Great job with the eyes highlights, they look very believable. The lips are good as well.

Very cool headgear! Love the detailed individual shading on the scales...those must have taken a while. The red eyes stand out marvellously. He (She?) looks very refined...very elegant...and very reptilian. grin

This's one cool painting!

I really like the variety of colors you used in this. It has a very rich feeling to it, like it's layered with paint.

Definitely practice your nose structure a bit, and maybe think about upping the contrast on your features (IE: don't be afraid to give it some DARK sharp shadows!) ... this is a bang-up piece, with additional little touches, they'll floor people!
