I figured after the string of misfortune, I owed Richtofen at least a brief reprieve.

The scene at the end was a response to Stylesrj's rather annoying habit of latching onto the most mundane artifact for a LOLWAR (specifically, the secret base in Siberia from two comics ago). It had no bearing on the plot, he evidently didn't want to make one out of it; all in all, a vapid action scene that only served to annoy and distract. I wish I could say he's grown out of such exercises, but...
