Grand Theft DYOS by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)

A slightly-improved version of a scene originally done in May 2010, inspired by one of @GenMarshall's "this is my brain on drugs" splash panels. Map and models created/ported by various Facepunchers I'm too lazy to list at the moment. This is when I discovered the lighting effects that have since become a staple of titles done in the GIMP.

Streets of SimCity is the black sheep of the Maxis family. It was the only product of the oddly-titled Maxis Sports subdivision before it was shut down. As an arcade game it was mediocre; as a driving sim it was utter crap. The soundtrack, however, is well worth digging up, and the game was chock full of Maxis-brand humour. Truthfully, I wouldn't mind a remake with proper physics and graphics.

I don't know what hurts me more: the amount of time I spent on CivGeneral's pose, or the fact those details are virtually invisible at this angle.
