In Shadow: Older Quest
In Shadow: Older Quest by @aodhnait (Kitty Ryan)

An experiment with form, this charcoal and water-soluable pencil sketch turned out to be Older Quest, Elsie's daughter and the wonderful Lea's creation. I imagine her always having the hard, ruthless shadow of her mother over her shoulder. With all her expectations, secret hopes, and inevitable disapointments in the girl. Poor, wretched things - the both of them. Artwork © Copyright 2002 Kitty Ryan

I love this picture. Charcoal is definitely a very Elsie and/or Older element. Like I told you last night, the hard, sharp lines and the shadowing are great. I also like the way you did her curls, and I just noticed the bracelets - nice touch! And just as a note, Older may be my creation, but a lot of the inspiration for her is credited to you.
