Mos Def by @Pop_a_doc (Matt Thompsonn)

This is my half of an art trade with Marla Deepali, she is an awesome artist, and I hope she likes this drawing. I doubt it though cause it kinda sucks. all my drawings of real people suck. I hate how hard it is to draw real people, oh well, maybe some day I'll be able to draw em. oH, and ignore the stupid writing on the side, I was trying to draw his name.

Looks good to me. The only problem I see is the lips, and if you erase some of the outline around them they'll look more masculine. Thats unless your going for the full lip look. Just a suggestion. Don't kill me. :)

Im glad you like it. I tried forever on those stupid lips, I was trying to make them look, i guess full lipped, but it never works out. I'll try to make the outline around them lighter, thanks for the suggestion. Dont worry, i couldnt hurt a fly (a cokaroach though, if I see one, its dead. DEAD. I dont care what it takes, Ill KILL it.)

well, its not really that bad. i mean, the angle of the pose is good, and yeah, just work on the mouth. this has potential. just take a break on this and try again later. i mean, its better that anything i could do. ^_^
