A Mountain into the bubbles
A Mountain into the bubbles by @manucote (Sonitweek C)

When Saya-Mel will be pregnant.

Saya-Mel didn't want a child, it's an accident, but after many many many dialogues with Jam, she decided to keep it. But everydays she needs encouragment 'cause she's not the best mother lol.

ANYWAY. I wanted to draw this scene after I saw my older sister Karine. She was pregnant and don't-ask-me-why , I was think about a belly into bubbles. I was is a mood of Saya-Mel and Jam, so I drew them! I like the angle and the bubbles... they was long to ink LOL

Wow. You've really captured emotion in this piece, especially in the young mother's face. She really looks surprised, as if thinking "Good heavens, how did this happen? Am I really carrying a new life inside me? And does he really want to love and support me through this?" The pose of her hand on his arm, and her tail, really seem to emphasize her confusion, but I really like the bubbles because they make her look safe, and protected. His expression is wonderful, it's so gentle, and without any of the worries and doubts she seems to have. He seems confident that she can do this, she'll be just fine, and he'll be there to watch over her all the way.

On to the actual art over the emotion in it... I am so in love with your black and white work. The lineart is just perfect, and the shading you use with lines is amazing! It seriously looks perfect, like it's taken right out of a comic book. I think this image would be pretty colored as well--the bubbles would be a pain and a half to color, though! Good luck with the rest of your art--I really love how you capture emotion, and I think you'll go far with this!
