Volgan Republic Coat of Arms
Volgan Republic Coat of Arms by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)

Adaptation of the coat of arms of the Volgograd Oblast for Omega124's FemIOT. I don't recall how I stumbled on the oblast's flag, but the silhouette of The Motherland Calls always stuck with me, and was the primary inspiration for my country when she announced the game.

The Republic of the Volga was basically a transposition of modern-day Russia into the gender-war premise, a nominal Matriarchal democracy dominated by a pragmatic if cronyistic ruling party exploiting a permanent state of emergency to govern with effective impunity. Praised by the GM herself as one of the game's only serious factions, its prospective long arc concerned the government's secret attempt to harness a prewar supersoldier programme to prevent its own misandrist paradigm from triggering a demographic collapse.

Uploaded to the now-defunct IOT Wiki in 2018, replacing my own raster; original coat of arms by Cian Akril, published under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. Package contains both the master file and the export version with text embedded.
