This show Blaze at her darkest of hours, just after losing her new mate whom is the father of her unborn children.
At the moment, she is depressed that she rarely eats. When she does, its only enough to make sure her unborn stay alive. As a result, she has become very thin.

Oooh, poor thing.. I agree, the contrast works wonderfully. YOu can really feel her sadness. THe only thing that distracts me is the streaks on the left side of the pic. I'm assuming that was scanner malfunction. But this is great anyway.
