They are so cute! Tell me, is it a sorta "were-lupe" thingy? I must be looking at it at an odd angle...Sony looks fine. His eyes make him an individual!

This is my lupe Sony (Sony_ORyan) and my friend Goala's lupess Koari ( Kaori_Sundance) After tumbling down a hill playing, and resting now. I'll prolly color it, and I'll need to fix Sony's face a little, something about it makes him look more.. lionish than wolfish to me... but maybe it's just me... oO; ((and yes,I do realise how big his paws are thank you))

Hi um Julie, this is not a put down or even a negative comment its just critisim from a fellow artist ok? Any way I think your "new" look is very nice and your doing a good job at it but....(: yes the ugly but. You shouldnt make Sony wolf like. Because then it kind of takes away from the orginal pic. See the way you made him lupe like is a really difficult cross over to well wolf like. He looks strange but unique,bold but difficult, passionate yet simplified.I'm basically saying that, thats just not the "look" for Sony. Its good and well destributed but it just does not look like Sony period. Now some people may get mad at this comment but hey I don't care were supposed to state our opinions right?

No no, I appreciate honest critiques and ppl that are actually saying something relevant, so don't you worry about it. Yeah, you are right though about his original picture compared to this, it kinda doesn't work. However, this is as I have said, only a sketch and I wanted to show it cuz well, yeah. I've improved on my paws and that makes me way happy, cuz paws are hard to do actually. Thanx for your input though, I really appreciate it. And it's really not his eye I don't think, cuz I have pictures of wolves in my room, and they have that same black like part on the side like that... but yeah. Anyways, thanx again, I'll keep that in mind.

Dis is vedy cute! ^-^ I likes it alot! I just read Sony's story the other day and I almost cried! How do you do that? lol! But I do kinda agree wiv Maxcine and he may look like a lion cuz he has a kitty tail and the angel hes in and stuff... but what do I know ^^" XD But it is an awsomely cute pic.!

Oh, oh, I know why he looks lion-ish! Because he has the same kind of hair thingee going on like simba did when he was growing up. He has the cute little bang thing, and the fur from his ear down is pretty long. It makes it look like he has a mane. And THAT is why he looks like a lion! But I kind of like the lion thing....

Hey Julie-chan! Yet another awesome piccy! My sis and I were lookin at Sony's face and (just another artist's relevent critique here, don't eat me...) we think maybe he'd lookie less lion-ish if you maybe tapered his muzzle off a little more and maybe lengthened it? Cuz we kinda think maybe it's the broadness of his muzzle that gives off the lion look. Maybe that's just the way you draw male lupe muzzles ah well. Just some thoughts from this corner. ^_~ Don't eat me.

Hey thanks Julie. Oh waht was I going to say......oh yea I really really like this pic, espically the way you made his eyes sort of lion like. It just has new style written all over it. Really cool keep up the good work. I pratice that style too and my school had us go to the zoo and pratice doing gesture and conter drawings of wolves. I think its great, what art school did you go to?

yeah, u shud colour it julie ans he dus look sort of lionish. i think iv got it tho, its not his eyes, they are fine, his hair adds slightly to the cat look but it aint that either. i think its his tail. YES I KNOW IT ISNT FULL PLUME B4 U START SHOUTIN! ahem but in your colour pic it has a plume at the end, this one doesnt have a plume at all! (i hope im rite after all that! meep) wot do ya think?

I agree actually. No worries about me biting you (why does everyone think i'm going to do that? >.>) Anyways... I did make that observation myself a little bit ago. I looked at his first picture and I noticed that the end of his tail had more 'fluff' on it, and in this picture he does not. I also agree that his snout is a diff shape than his original picture. When I get around to coloring this picture, I will make the appropriate changes. ^^ Thanx for helping me out though.
I take critizim well, it's flaming I don't appreciate. So no worries.

update: there IS summat about his face, tho i still stand by my thing bout his tail (im obsessed) it might b that his muzzle is too rounded? his chin too. i think ur other lupes have pointier features, hm pointier is noy a gud word but wot the hek. i still love the piccy tho, and AAAAAAAALLLLLL of ur nearly 200 (!!!!!) pictures. keep up the gr8 work julie.
Aww dey is cute! I know what it is that makes him look lion-ish! It's his eyes, lions have those black sorta lines that run from their eye down to their nose! He's got a little bit of a black spot thing in front of his eye...if you get what I mean...I'll shut up now...
