Te Rito by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)
Maori national School of Weaving, Te Puia, New Zealand. The Maori Arts and Craft school was originally established by prominent MP Apirana Ngata in 1926, and received national recognition as the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute in 1967 as a means of promoting and safeguarding creative tradition. Te Rito was established in 1969; while traditionally practiced by women, unlike the School of Carving it is not sex-exclusive.
