My Snow White Queen
My Snow White Queen by @Lucky_Ladybug66 (Daisy Hunt)

I know something passionate like this probably looks odd coming from me. XD What can I say? It's my OTP.

I love Sherry's expression. And yes, I know her right arm is awful. And I had the most terrible time with Gin's expression. I tried twisted delight, a soft look, a serious look, expressionless.... What I ended up with seemed to be a cross between the twisted and the soft looks, and then I hated that and wanted to try again to match it better with the overall passionate look I was going for. You can thank Serika_San for the unknowing inspiration as to how to fix this, by hiding Gin's eyes and changing his expression.

The hands were murder. For some reason, it was like I forgot everything I know about drawing them. -.- I'm still not completely satisfied with them. And you'll notice the rings are back. This is during the Good Enough For You timeline.

I like how their hair came out, and the touch of Gin's hair falling over Sherry.

I'm thinking of coloring this and making a background, with snowflakes as symbolism.... Or maybe I'll see if anyone wants to computer-color it, anyway. afraid of damaging the hair on the original pic.

giggles Daisy-Faye's drawing romantic pictures now...never thought I'd see the day. X3

I like the pose on this one. It reminds me vaguely of the cover of a romance novel, you know, one of those ones full of passion, despair, adventure, and tanned, muscular arms. All it's lacking is the gratuitous flowers and a title in some splashy curving script. XD But it's a good pose for the mood of the picture.

You made the right choice with Gin's expression, I think...for as little as I know about him, twisted delight would create an entirely different (and sort of scary) mood, a soft look might look sort of out-of-character, and serious or expressionless might come across as...well, bored. I like Sherry's expression, too.

The arm....yeeeeeeeeah, I was sort of wondering where it went. XD;; I think part of it should be visible at that angle, but I'd need to be looking in a mirror (and preferably with a handsome, muscular man wrapped around me...hey, even without the reference-motive it'd be fun!) to see which part. Her visible arm, though, looks great. And the hair looks very nice, especially the Gin-bit draped over Sherry.

As for coloring...if you wanted, I could try watercoloring it for you. o.o I don't CG very well, and watercolors might be fitting for the mood of the picture...or I've been looking at too many Watase Yuu artbook scans. XD But if you were interested, I'd be up to the task.

XD Yes, when I tried serious/expressionless, it did indeed come across as bored! And I think my original motive was something twisted, but when I started drawing, I decided that I'd rather go for passion.

I tried several times drawing pieces of that arm, and every time I did, it didn't look right. XD; Hence why I hid it, which probably also does not look right!

I would enjoy seeing the effect of watercolors! ^^ Whenever you've got some free time, that would be great! Would I need to provide you with pictures of them so you could get the colors right? Sherry is wearing white, BTW.

I think I like passion better than twisted, what with Sherry's expression and pose...and arm-positioning is a pain. Almost as much of a pain as drawing hands. >_<

I'd be happy to color it for you...I think I know the colors...Gin's blond, Sherry's brunette? And a white dress...I think I've got a periwinkle that makes for decent shading on white...as long as the scanner doesn't eat it. Would you want a background? I have snowlake brushes! :3
