In response to the X.ii–XI parallel run, I'd adopted the policy of keeping characters in one thread or the other; hence Thorvald only appears in canon in Part II, Peter in The HAAAX, and Rudolph literally crosses between them. Here, though, I chose to break that rule, as I couldn't think of any other (pre-existing) character other than Gedeonin that could fit the role.
