Mandatum was Ailedhoo's terrorist faction in Multipolarity II, best remembered for a 'king-of-the-hill' political atmosphere that led to the chief director keeling over every five minutes. A textbook example of Ailed grossly overplaying his hand, it was notorious for filibustering the United Nations with irrelevant attempts to gain official recognition. In a bout of cognitive dissonance sadly typical of his play style, it tried to claim a moral high ground by disavowing attacks on civilians, while simultaneously stating its goal was to "spread terror" and trying to find a host for its torture Olympics, the so-called Vehemens Games.

Mandatum was originally hired by Patriotic_Fool in his early war against Red_Spy; distasteful of the powergamer, Ailed began acting as a mole for the Allies, leading P_F to hire rival spy agency BPA to turf Mandatum bases in his client states. Ailed demanded restitution, claiming breach of contract, and when P_F refused to pony up, he declassified all documents relating to the Partitionanian War, swearing vendetta against the Soviet Union.

Originally submitted to the now-defunct IOT Wiki in 2017, replacing Ailed's rather dodgy original raster. The base is the original 2006 upload of Blank shield.svg; I don't recall the source for the trishula, and it may even have been a custom trace. Package contains the master file and export version with embedded text; uses Old London font.
