@Chaos-Mirror: I am fond of vexillology and heraldry, and I thought I'd apply some of that to world-building. The petals of these flowers from a tall, narrow cone. Picture two sheets of paper that you roll to use as a small horn. These flowers cluster together in small bunches and can usually be orange, yellow, or white. I probably ought to try sketching them out some time.
Tremor Command of Ekim Seal by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)

"When the nukuwre tree blazed, I cried from the beauty. The policeman who brought me home did not agree." ~Madam Raite Jeeha, The Book of Roads
Tremor Command of Ekim is the Ekimian Army. The name is actually a style used in all of its other branches of military. The burning figure at the middle of the seal is a nukuwre tree, also called a coneflower tree. The tree is considered a national symbol of Ekim. When one catches fire, it tends to blaze brightly and uncontrollably due to the oils produced by its flowers. Tremor Command took this image and combined it with the open ground to produce a very distinctive emblem. The sword and arrows represent the ancient weapons of Ekimian warriors. The sword bears similarities to Japanese katanas, except the Ekimian style favored shorter blades which better withstood stabbing attacks. The words on top read "The Federal Republic of Ekim" (Arāmasudhū Skavidī Sekīm) while the bottom reads "Tremor Command" (Garāx Yazhbhaif).

You have a knack for symbols. My initial thought was volcano but such power is still fitting of warriors. What do the flowers of this tree look like?
