The Starving Artist
The Starving Artist by @boredslacker (Aki Tan)

This is what my dad used to predict I'd turn out to be, if I continued with doing art. I sincerely hope it doesn't happen.

My first attempt at 100% digital art! Girl was drawn in Freehand MX and background in Photoshop.

And to prevent me ever turning into a starving artist, check out my cafepress store. (Hint hint clue clue)

Aww....poor little starving creature...

I love the style of this...subtle and striking at the same time. I like how the background is just subtle enough to put the majority of the focus on the girl, but it's still recognizeable as an alley. The collaboration of textures is very nice.

Besides that, it's an adorable idea. Thanks for giving me my smile of the evening. ^_^

Thanks! And I pray hard that doesn't happen to me in the future!

Really cute..maybe in the past u would have not made a living with art but now for that part it has change..But you have to have determination and be unique.......
