Nemo by @chaosmage (Yaminah Tashanazi)
Wow. This turned out super kewl. ^^! Especially if you go back and look at the original sketch.
I've been teaching myself how to use Photoshop 7.0 for the past couple months, and I like what I've accomplished. ^^ I have a big fear of trying to color my pictures before scanning in fear of ruining them, so I wanted to do it on the comp. Having Photoshop is a miracle compared to having to use to do it on Paint. But there's still the fact I'm working on a laptop, so still using a touchpad. X.x;; Strenuous So yay . . . Anywho, I've been working on this for the past couple days . . . and now it's to the point where I don't wanna try and mess with it in fear of screwing it up. XD; There are some things that could be better, but I'm really proud of it. Especially since I'm such a newbie with Photoshop.
The eyes are super kewl . . . I like how I got it to get kinda 3D-ish and a glassy look. Of course . . . the pupil on the left should be bigger . . . but oh well. The camo effect on the shirt is kewl too. Actually, the shirt was light, soft green to begin with and I took several flower pattern brushes and used several greens and a brown. The texture in the hair turned out really nice . . .
Then of course, the lens flares. XP Once I discovered them I became obsessed. XD Kinda has somewhere between a firefly and spirit look to it. I'll be honest, I know next to nothing about this girl, I just drew her. Though . . . I'm starting to see she might have some shamanistic abilities. That and while I don't know anything about her, if a story were to arrive, she'd have amnesia. So therefore, even though it's a guy's name, I've named her Nemo. Which means "no one" or "nobody".
Yay for the pretty lights and for mint hair! ^^ I love how you colored this. The other background elements are really cool, too. She kinda looks like she's thinking "What the HECK?!"
