In Japanese folklore, foxes are said to be able to become human after they live to a certain age... most often fifty or a hundred years. There are tons of stories of fox-women falling in love with human men and seducing them.

I plan on doing a photo-realistic version of this. It would be a neat effect, I think.

Anyway... drawn at Oekaki Circle as well.

it's fantastic i remember hearing about this folklore when living in korea- there was a japanese mcdonalds comercial that featured this tale...cool to bring it out here and with such a beautiful rendition as well! i'm an instant fan!
