Touch
Touch by @zenphoenixa (Annabel Lee)

Firstly, a link to the prose that I wrote for this pic which sorta explains the context: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/9450576/

FEATURED CHARACTERS: Liam (the tallest) and Noel

CREATOR: Me! Hi! ^^

MEDIUMS: Black felt tip ink (the subject matter, obviously) and Paintshop Pro 5 (background and light effects)

Secondly, for those of you who have followed the link I left at DA, hello there! XD I should probably point out at the start that the prose you’ve just read is not an excerpt from any story I’ve written, but is merely a possible outcome… these two characters are from an actual storyline I’ve been carrying around for awhile, but nothing has been finalised yet so I won’t put up any big descriptions. (Luckily for all of you! XD) As was mentioned briefly in the prose and above, featured here are Liam and Noel, who have a relationship of sorts with a strange foundation… to cut a long story short, their relationship started out as a bargain of sorts but as I’ve investigated in the prose I wrote, it doesn’t have to remain that way. I won’t elaborate further because I don’t know how to explain things without taking another 3000 words, so I’ll leave it at that! ^^;;; These two however are the only characters I have who could have a romantic relationship, so I’ll be paying close attention to them… and yes, Zen is actually a hopeless romantic at heart! So why haven’t I been drawing any couples for two years? O____o;; Er, I don’t know. ^^;;; Coff

Actually, to make up for it, I’m hoping to make this pic the first part of a small series based on the five senses, hence the title ‘Touch.’ Inspiration withstanding, I shall act on that idea! ^^ Stay tuned, I’ll see what I can do…

Now then, what about the technical side of things? This is the first time in awhile that I’ve decided to forego colour, but I just got the feeling that colour would’ve wrecked everything. Call it women’s intuition or something, I dunno. XD It didn’t mean I had to forego my shiny effects though, I can’t do without those! ;) There’s not really too much that bugs me about this pic, which is surprising since I’m usually always bugged by a lot of things… Liam’s right hand continuously urks me though since it looks out of proportion to everything else in the pic, but I threw that hand in at the last moment so that’s probably why. XP Lotsa hands, in here, what a nightmare to draw! X___X Thank goodness I’ve gotten Touch outta the way, the other senses should be easier! ;)

Well, I think I’ve said enough for now, so peace everyone, and may you all find love even in the most unexpected circumstances! :D

Excellent image! Always love the shiny. XP I like your idea for a series based on the 5 senses. It would be fun to see them played out with your artistic ability. ^^ Nice job all around!
