I don't mind the flare... although it seems a bit out of place with the look and feel of the rest of the work.

The rain looks great, but I'd like to see little splashes where it's hitting everything... would give it a bit more depth, I think.

I love the picture though. It's one of my favourites on the whole site now, and I look forward to seeing more from you.

I did make splashes but they are not as apparent on this image T_T It shows up a little better on the DA one cuz I can have a much larger image lol. next time I'll try to make em a little more visible--cuz even then they are hard to see n_n XD AWE thanks so much for the comment n_n

I love this picture. The background is just perfect. ^-^ And I love the way you drew the moped so that its headlight pierced through the gloom. It really adds to the effect. :)

Great job, I love the dark atmosphere, enhanced by the shining front the light of the vespa. The only problem is that she looks a bit untouched by the rain... her clothes, the hat an purse on the back seat, are completely dry... Yes she has an umbrella, but it doesnt repair you completely, expecially after a run on a moped :)

Yeah n_n I'll have to agree n_n I tried by making her clothes really dark but it's kinda hard to make things like fabric appear to be wet n_n;;

About making the fabric appear wet... perhaps if you made darker spots where the rain would hit most, and make them glisten a bit. Drops running off everything could be quite effective, too. I was caught in the rain the other day, and there was much of it dripping off me by the time I finally made it home ^.~

But, then again, making her look too wet might detract from the overall composition. It looks wonderful as is ^-^
