It's a movie about a scientist turned obsessive mad man (Played by Robin Williams) who largely withdraws from public life and even stands his fiance up at that altar several times.
Why? In the pursuit of creating a rubbery goo-like polymer that he later comes to find not only posesses exceptional elastic properties... But is also sentient.
He along with his sophisticated thinking machine attempt to dominate the will of this sentient elastic goo in order to market it as a multi purpose product and make a significant profit in doing so. Some such applications are that if sprayed on the soles of a shoe, can allow basketball players to jump and bounce to incredible lengths and heights, the "Flubber" as the scientist has named it; also facilitates some kind of flotation or anti gravity.
Allowing him to design a special car that with flubber contained within, is able to fly.
Eventually the fiance gets in on it and they are seen getting married and flying off in a flubber actuated vehicle.
Why are we talking about Flubber again?
It's like the movie Flubber all over again!
