Warcraft III Knight
Warcraft III Knight by @TheDevilCat (Caitlin Wilt)

Here’s a pieced-together image of a scratchboard I had to do for school. We had to find an image that had a figure in it, and duplicate it onto a scratchboard. While my classmates went rummaging through magazines, and such, I whipped out my Art of Warcraft book and picked out my favourite image, which you now see before you, rendered on scratchboard.

I annoyed many a person at school by telling them this is the first scratchboard I’ve ever done, heh. I’m very proud of it, though. And many thanks go out to Blizzard Entertainment, who rendered the original image.

I was tempted to clean the scans up in Photoshop, but decided not to. I’ve instead left the image in all its original scratched and torn and fingerprint-oiled glory. Toldja it’s the first scratchboard I’ve ever done.
