Birds Of Prey
Birds Of Prey by @rainshadow (T. "Rain" Willard)

This was a birthday present for my Dad. He really likes eagles, and had asked me to draw him one years ago, which I never seemed to get around to. Well, now it's done! (well, it still needs to be framed)

11"x14" Pastel on paper. Prints and other goodies of this image are available HERE.

Good job! I like how you capured the intensity of the eyes, espoecially on the golden eagle. It may be too late for this to make a difference, seeing as it is a birthday present, but the bald eagle doesn't stand out very well. It's hard to see where its head stops. maybe a slightly darker background would help.

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, the scan is not that great. In person, the background is a darker blue and the Bald Eagle's head is a brighter white, so it stands out better.
