This is a commission for a friend on Telegram of their character Owen! This is completely experimental, so critiques are wanted! I honestly had no idea how I wanted to do the water, so I'll be trying out different ways to do that

Okay, I can do this...
Actually my only main suggestion is perspective: the water's drawn as if we're looking at it flat, whereas the pattern should compress as it nears the horizon to communicate distance. Likewise, the angle of the net and the characters' positions make the island look like it's tipped over. :p
The general style itself is good. :3
