@Thorvald: Yes Kaize was meant to be my poster boy for my studio even had a sign designed for the physical building and everything at one time. Sadly it never materialized and I ended up just using the name to call my freelancing that would be unique and recognizable.
Darkhorn was actually a persona given form from the anger and frustration I had with society as a youngling, also the amount of injustice I saw in the world with people who were different in some shape or form and were ostrasized cause they didn't look normal or acted differently. I was once made fun of because I believed in flying cars and castles floating in the sky as well as going into a tree house and arriving in a whole other world in my own backyard. I ended up making Darkhorn as a way to battle those emotions and mainly cause I knew others would be able to associate that character with their own lives in some way shape or form.
Kaize was the hero who did his best to save everyone around him and those he cared about but in the end he could not save himself from well himself. Kaize was also a persona given because there is always that one fellow who tries his hardest and has great intentions but no matter what they do they end up with the short end of the stick in the end. Each character in Dark Kitsunes was made to represent something in my life or something I saw.
And no Kaize does not win nor does Calouse but that is a story untold.

Kaize Vs Calouse End The Darkness Part 1
The final battle between Father and Adopted son has begun, Calouse now a full fledged Sword Dancer faces off against the now corrupted Kaize in a fight that will decide whose fate it is to die by whose hands. Kaize the veteran Sword Dancer who was once champion of the downtrodden reduced to nothing more then a foaming at the mouth snarling beserker. Calouse knew that the only way to end his adopted father's torture being trapped in his own body was to end his life and set his spirit free of its confinement. His hands shaking as he faced down his one time hero, sweat poured down his brow and onto his muzzle and his eyes clouded by tears as he began to circle Kaize. The corrupted demonified kaize twisted his body following the movements of his enemy saliva dripping from his teeth, he had already slew an entire army before facing his adopted son in combat, the army nothing more then a mere distraction to get Calouse ready for his battle.
The two raised their hands and swords sliced through a pocket dimension into the real world, the blades glistening in the full moon light, a glint of each blade aglow with an ethereal glow of red and blue respective of their summoners.
This is it...I will end the darkness your trapped in Father...please...please allow me to let you rest in peace. Calouse said under his breath
Then without warning charged forwards towards kaize as 10 more swords appeared and all of them flying directly at Kaize.
The final battle has begun...
Whose to say will be the victor
for the sake of all men evil must be vanquished.

@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: Aye, 2021 was the Year of Incompetence on multiple fronts in my life and just the experience that led me to S7 goes to show that the long arc of history may curve towards justice, but you can break yourself trying to bend it.
And yeah, I think all artists channel a part of themselves into their work, consciously or otherwise. I know my characters are crafted around different parts of my own psyche, even the villains. It utterly stupefies one of my DYOS colleagues, who barely recognizes his foes as even human—with the somewhat predictable result that the villains of his stories have all wound up cartoon caricatures instead of believable threats. :p
Ahh, so that's where Sword Dancer Productions comes from!
Either you die a hero...
The general consensus on the Star Wars soundtrack is that while "Duel of the Fates" is the most recognizable, "Battle of the Heroes" is the more soulful. The opening here perfectly channels that tragic mood—and then shifts into full-blown fight-for-your-life.
Well based on the electronica in the final quarter it seems Kaize actually does pull an Aku...
