I've never run into anything like that. But, if you obtained the software from a torrent, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an issue with what you downloaded (virus, bad crack, incompatible drivers, etc.).

It sounds like what you downloaded installed some incompatible drivers that are causing havoc with your OS. Have you uninstalled the Nero software to see if you can see the drives again?

hey BK I didnt actually manage to instal the new software (nero) since it kept telling em to restart. I ended up trashing it (and emptyosh the trash as well) But I have decided to take my pc to my cousin this monday, he knows how to fix commputers...
