...to make an uber-autistic deep-analysis of the socio-economic factors that lead to der Barbenheimer phenomenon ja! On Europe Also I want to know which movie is better and why
I'm notoriously bad about catching movies when they release so if you're looking to buy tickets, you're best off asking elsewhere. :x Though the general impressions I've received are: Oppie is the first biopic to take on the man's full complexity, Barbie is a self-indulgent, but also self-aware celebration of the franchise à la The LEGO Movie. Which one is "better" boils down to personal taste and what you're looking to get out of it, but the consensus seems to be it's worth seeing both.
P.S.:
Barbie is a mid-life existential crisis movie about a particular Barbie feeling too old, and it is giving kids PTSD XD It just feels like a mock comedy, similar to the Flintstones and Stepford Wives, despite its critique. But it made a lot of young kids cry at the cinema as it's actually a bit too deep, and others find the guys "act too queer". Also they make Barbie and Ken romantic partners but they're friends in the animated and toy versions. But I'm gonna watch it for those yummy looking candyish pinks.
Not sure what I think to Oppenheimer but I'll skim through it when it's out to watch the minor few action and explosion scenes. I'll probably prefer The Little Mermaid, Twisters, Fantastic Beasts 5 and Mission Impossible, but they're not out yet
