In seriousness though, I understand.

I never bothered with these. I set my goals in my mind, and begin working towards them. Discussing resolutions in social/party settings seems to create more pressure for people, because the anxiety of failing is worse when other people hear what you say and want to hold you to it.

Some of my personal art goals for 2024 are to keep working towards making more realistic shading, and to practice more interesting and dynamic facial expressions and poses. But, there is no pressure for me to master these things in twelve months. I'm sure I'll make some progress, but it might be another five years before I have my eureka moment and shadows/proportions/perspective make sense to me (without using guides, refs, and tutorials at every step of the way).

id like 2 improve with drawing buildings and scenes, especially with the perspective of it all! and more generally i guess just improve my art as much as possible throughout the year
