Opinion Bombs

I prefer mostly Gen 1, 2, and 5 Pokémon games

I prefer Cartoon Network and retro Disney Channel/Toon Disney/Playhouse Disney commercials and shows

The Lion King is my most favorite 90's Disney movie

I like certain cheeses like cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan, romano, asiago, and provolone

I don't like Swiss cheese because of the taste

I don't like kale because I think it's too bitter

I find the Care Bears Movie from 1985 to be the best film for both young and old

I love the Autumn/Fall season

Christmas is my favorite holiday

I like blue, yellow, and green as my signature colors

I like a lot of countries, cultures, languages, flags, landscapes, animals, and national anthems

I'm better off with raising ball pythons instead of contributing to human overpopulation and bringing children into a cruel, violent, unforgiving world

I rather (sometimes) be alone then to be with people that want to hurt me

I like the aesthetic of the 70's, 80's, and 90's

I only like Disney's version of The Jungle Book because of Kaa and his snuggly coils

I like Disney's Aladdin because I think that fancy magic lamps and flying carpets are cool

My favorite Asian country is Vietnam

My favorite European country is Germany

They say children are the future, but the way certain factions seem determined to make children's lives as miserable as possible gets me thinking they're intentionally trying to cut that future short. HAV - Tom Longboat 2

To be fair, so would I. :B

I feel that the 2016 remake was the second and last time Disney did this current nostalgia-mine of remakes right. (N.B.: I have not seen Branagh's Cinderella.) It's actually a much closer follow to the original stories, specifically in how the wolf pack remains the anchor of Mowgli's family, and is one of three films in my life that was strong enough to (almost) move me to tears. The critics weren't kidding when they said this raised the bar on CGI: things as simple as ear flicks made you think they'd mocapped actual animals, and there's one sequence that feels lifted straight out of a nature doc. But what really astounded me is that they could make "natural" animals so expressive—it basically perfected realistic anthropomorphism, and it's stupefying that Favreau decided to throw this out for The Lion King.

Which reminds me, I have heard very good things about The Sympathizer

@Thorvald: I apologize if the children part was political. I can edit this, if you want me to.

@FurryKittens: Nah, it's not gunning for a fight so I figure you're fine. :3

@Thorvald: Ok, I was getting anxious there. By the way, what are you're opinions? I have a tendency to get curious about other people's opinions.

@Thorvald: Like any kind of opinion you want to express that involves media or maybe your goals?
