Biography

Hello. I'm Chibi Rose, a.k.a. Mrs M. I draw in what has been described as a style similar to that of German expressionist lithographs. Although I do draw a bit of anime and manga here and there, one of my huge inspriations was Edward Gorey, and as you look through my gallery you may notice that I hatch and crosshatch a lot. My favorite artists, other than Edward Gorey, include Tim Burton, Jhonen Vasquez, and on the more colorful side, Peter Max. I enjoy movies. A LOT. Heh, I want to be a director when I get older, and am currently the official cinematographer and manager of a band that is named "Les Petites Gateuex Volant" at the present moment, although I probably spelled it wrong, and "Volant" is probably the incorrect form of the verb. Yay for me and my beginner French II skills. My favorite movies include Yellow Submarine, Edward Scissorhands, and Citizen Kane. Usually when I draw, I'm listening to music, and my best pieces have been inspired by bands like The Velvet Underground and The Pixies. Other bands I like include The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Placebo, The Aquabats, Ayatollah Fetish, and, uh, other stuff. I am incredibly lazy, and it is a miracle that my attention span has held out this long, so I bid thee farewell.
