Biography

I started drawing ever since the age that I could pick up a pencil and move it across a piece of paper, which was, I dunno, 3 or 4? 5 maybe, because I just loved to paint in kindergarten. I started with pegasus/unicorns, then dinosaurs and Nintendo characters. In the beginning of High school I was introduced to anime, and now I rarely draw anything else, which annoys some people to no end, but I love it. Now at the age of 18, I'm still drawing in the anime style, while developing my own style as well.

I'm constantly influenced by different people, whether they're fellow artists or my good friends. And, as every artist who enjoys music usually is, I'm heavily influenced by bands and their music, mostly for the lyrical content.

Music: AFI, From Autumn to Ashes, Dashboard Confessional, Green Day, Story of the Year, SOLEN <3, In Flames, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, The Ataris, Metallica, Evanescence, Goo Goo Dolls, Foo Fighters, Drowning Pool, The Offspring, Nirvana, Avril Lavigne, Smashing Pumpkins, ... My tastes in music are constantly changing. I'll listen to almost anything though.

Anime/Manga: Inu Yasha, Furi Kuri, Fushigi Yugi, Vampire Hunter D, Tenchi Muyo, Trigun, Hellsing, Outlaw Star, Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal, Peach Girl, Model, Princess Mononoke.

I'm a gamer as well, and I mostly play sad 1 player RPG's because no one else wants to play with me. ;_; Some of my all-time favorites though are The Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy 7 and 3, Chrono Trigger, and Vexx.

I also like the Lord of the Rings movies very much (I only wish I could balance enough time between drawing and working to read Tolkien's novels), the third one brought me to tears like 10 times. Star Wars isn't too bad either. :p

As for the media I use to create my art, I use mech pencils, india ink, prismacolor pencils and markers, watercolor, and occasionally Photoshop. And that's that, so enjoy.
