  1. Re installed Windows to my old PC setup cause the original was so badly in need of fixing so better to just re install. Had to re install all my music programs only to find out some of them were obsolete and discontinued happens after using them for 15 years straight Luckily was able to get newer versions up and running but all my GalaxyLord tracks can no longer be loaded up cause I was using Kontakt 5.6.6 version which is long discontinued and you can no longer get that version even from the main website. _ So I had to not only upgrade to a newer version of Kontakt but also had to install other programs to get some of my libraries to even work properly,. Lots of headaches and a lot of time has gone into getting everything back up to ship shape. _ _From now on I am going to mark every single damned instrument I use down in what track and where they are placed so if I have to install them again I will know what they are and where they fit in the track. Good news is I have a NEW PC and I have been working on that as well, I have an i7 6700 3.40ghz with 32Gig of Mem and a 4TB internal HD a 1TB SSD and a third 120GB for spare which I plan to replace with another 1TB SSD for music program storage as well as an external 2 TB HD *moving parts sadly* for portability till I can afford a SSD portable HD. _ _I don't have the wireless card to hook it up to the internet as my room has no outlet for a wired connection *at this point* so no updates have been done. I am getting the wireless card end of the month for this pc so I can finish the updates on it and will be purchasing a RTX 3080 graphics card so I can use VR on my new PC. Funny thing is I got this PC set up for 100CAD from an Estate garage sale. not too shabby if I do say so myself. _ _I should have my new pc setup running by next month and will be switching all my music programs to it ASAP. _Sadly the old PC setup two of the 4 DDR3 memory chips died on it making me go from 24 gigs to a lowly 12GB to work with music wise. I was able to pull of my Batman track with it so there is still some juice left in the old bucket to see me through. I plan on also replacing the 2 dead memory chips in the old machine as I plan to use it for emulation and media streaming as well as a secondary work machine for music as it can still pull of some impressive tracks. _ _ _I will hopefully have something NEW to upload very soon. _

That is if I can pry myself away from playing Minecraft in VR LMAO! __

Ahh, nothing like planned obsolescence. Somewhere in the upgrade chain, the Adobe Premiere suite changed how features worked in the back end and I lost a whole lot of formatting for legacy projects. Of course now they run everything through the Cloud so good luck retaining legacy versions for compatibility. :/

From now on I am going to mark every single damned instrument I use down in what track and where they are placed so if I have to install them again I will know what they are and where they fit in the track.

You mean like some sort of ... musical score? :D

@Thorvald:* Its why everything is shifting to cloud...the hunt for the almighty dollar, because of it I am going to be signing onto EWQL cloud service as the good news is I will never lose my programs again bad news is if they discontinue a product then I lose that kit entirely from my collection. *
