8bit PandaStrike/XxTheCreativeKitsunexX Collab by @XxTheCreativeKitsunexX (XxTheCreativeKitsunexX)

No your not seeing things yes this did happen.

8bitpandastrike 8bitpandastrike and myself got together and did a collaboration on a track he did for the Furaffinity music spotlight.
He did a remix of Sonic 2's Boss theme and when I heard it I immediately wanted to try and do a collab using this track, so I got in touch with him and then it was on like donkey kong. The end result is this piece, combining 2 styles of music by two artist into one 3:28 track.

Check out more of 8bitpandastrike 8bitpandastrike's work both on youtube found here
And here on furaffinity just click on his name.
It was a lot of fun working on this and a challenge as I have NEVER done this kind of collab before taking someone else's music and mixing my own style and sound to it, it was a learning process and I am very happy with the final result.
8bit's original mix can be found Here

Remix done by 8bitpandastrike 8bitpandastrike XxTheCreativeKitsunexX J.Delorey Productions Sword Dancer Studio Canada LTD.
Sonic 2 boss theme is © Sega and was composed by Masato Nakamura
This is a fan made track and is not Licensed Sponsored or Endorsed by Sega
Image is © of its respective holder and was found on google images it is not my art.

Oh, this is such a great jam. I love the mashing up of both the 8-bit and more orchestrated parts. Great mix. Reminds me of the demos back in the 90s and early 2000s.

God I miss those.  Favorites were Future Crew, with Purple Motion and Skaven.

know that cover image! I scraped it as part of a reference roundup to that never-realized AU side-hustle. Some day I really ought to sketch out what I'd come up with...

Here's to many more collabs in future! My favourite remixes after full-on genre shifts are the ones that embellish a piece without overwhelming the core of it. Your additions give it that extra oomph without drowning out the original melody.

Now if we could get a panda exhibit over here...

@Thorvald: If the music side here on side 7 were more busier and the community more active, there would be a good number of music composers who would be willing to join.  At present time there is not enough watches, faves and comments to warrant them taking the plunge.  All the musicians I know want coverage and feedback.

8bit might consider joining I could always ask.
