Full disclosure: I'm a wolf man through and through, but this is one of the most arresting vampire pics I've ever seen. Lost amid all the rehashes and adaptations of the *Dracula* lore is that the Count himself is both suave and *intimidating*: vamps as metaphors for aristocratic parasitism abound and it's easy to make them *sultry*, but I don't usually see them depicted *imperious* like this. There's looking down your nose because you think you're better than the peasants, and there's looking down your nose because you're already clued into the cosmic joke that we're *all* already dust.

Aside: The pose (and the poise) calls to mind Pearl from Steven Universe. :p
