The one who walks at night...
The one who walks at night... by @TigerGirl (Rika Jordan Kennedy)

I am REALLY proud of this piece. After all the painstaking work with Adobe (evil evil evil...), it seemed like everything just kind of fell in place and looked perfect. Even adding all the little tiny light flares for stars was worth the time. A looooong time ago I was really in to mythology, and even to a class on it for a short time. Unfortunately it's been so long, I can't remember which country this particular myth comes from. It was about a woman who would fly across the sky as the sun disspeared and would drape the world in night, the stars and dark sky trailing from her hair and her dress. shrugs i remembered the myth about a year ago and drew the original of this. I hated the way the original turned out, so I finally got around to getting an inked version scanned and CGed. Anyway, I love it! squee!! I'm so happy my Adobe skills are getting better! Adobe Goddess! I swear you're the first person I've ever known who could make anything presentable with that nasty little program. Trying to select all the seperate little pieces for a smooth gradient fill takes forever... The stars came out wonderfully, and I really like that pose.
