Shinigami Comes to Life
Shinigami Comes to Life by @TigerGirl (Rika Jordan Kennedy)

On my Gundam Wing kick, I did this one here. A not exactly successful attempt at portraying Duo as the real Shinigami, I nearly threw it in the garbage but a friend saved it and told me no matter how bad, I should keep all my art work. At least that way I could look back and see how much I’ve grown. Anyway, his wings look funny, his eyes are too big, and I had to hide his hand behind the scarf because I couldn’t draw the angle right. 12/4/00 Artwork © Copyright 2002 Rika Jordan Kennedy

He's pretty cute! I'm not that good an artist, but I can give you a few ideas for drawing things at tricky angles: Stand in front of a mirror and assume the pose yourself; flip through (fashion) magazines and look for a few similar pictures (maybe someone holding a rail); or have someone pose for you. Since I'm pretty much a loner, I usually stick the the first one, and once in a while the second. Hope that helps some.
