Gnome women.
Gnome women. by @The-Wizard-of-Zaar (The Wizard Of Zaar)

Gnome women though tend to be homemakers, farmers and gardeners, they are more inclined to do so during motherhood.

Married, single and childless Gnome women will often have small side jobs or trades. The latter two most definitely engage in variety of full tim vocations and careers.

Gnome women though not as much so as their men; are resilient, energetic and strong for their size. Gnomes of either gender are hard working and take joy in mastering a skill or the fruit of their labours.

In times of war or threat, Gnome women serve a variety of crisis era roles. From enlisting as trained, full time guards, to taking up jobs men usually would do during peace time.

In combat, Gnome women employ strange, chaotic or comical methods when it comes to fight in off marauders. From stone throwing, to driving whipped cattle into foes, developing crude but strange and oddly effective war machines and traps. They'll even go as far as to entice or chase dangerous wild animals into the battle... Though they have little control over these animals.

@Camazotz:

Gnomes are just smaller dwarves who are obsessed with pointy head gear.
